Taiwan Farm Stay Discovery

So much has changed about Taiwan. The way of life , value and the culture compared to the last time I visited there more than 8 years ago. Taiwan has more to offer than just the hectic life of the big city.

It is not as commercialize now like once upon the time, people and thing went a bit slow, value of life improved and they learn to appreciate the environment and surrounding, for example,  more organized retail shops, hawker store, food packages and et cetera .

This time, my trip took me to experience a scenic Taiwan Farm and Home Stay.

The Cingjing veterans farm located at Taiwan central mountain range, situated 1750 meter above sea level, its fresh breath of air, abundance of flora and fauna, herds of sheep and cows on wide grass plain attracts thousand of visitors every year. The farm produces various seasonal fruits including: peaches, pears, plums, kiwi fruit, and high land vegetables. One of the main attraction in the farm is the sheep shearing show. China's Newest Tourist Attraction

Tianmen Mountain - Zhang Jiajie, Hunan

China's Newest Tourist Attraction at Tianmen Mountain- Zhang Jiajie, Hunan- a glass bottomed walkway around a cliff . Brave tourists looking to test their nerves have flocked to China to walk across a dazzling glass bridge suspended from a cliff face. The oriental Skywalk is situated 4,700ft above sea level on the side of the Tianmen Mountain in Zhang Jiajie , Hunan, China . In order to keep the glass path clean, tourist are asked to wear on shoe cover before passing.

張家界天 門山玻璃棧道 張家界天門山國家森林 公園新建的玻璃棧道正式對遊客開放。玻璃棧道懸于天門山頂西線，長 60米，最高處海拔 1430米。所有上橋的遊客均被 要求穿上鞋套，以保持玻璃橋面潔凈。玻璃棧道 是張家界天門山景區繼懸于峭壁之上的鬼谷棧道、憑空伸出的玻璃眺望臺、橫跨峽谷的木質吊橋 後打造的又一試膽新 景點。

The 200ft long bridge joins the west cliff at the Yunmeng Fairy Summit, the summit of Tianmen Mountain and Zhang Jiajie. The pathway, built earlier in the summer echoes the glass-bottomed walkway at the Grand Canyon in the U.S. The 70ft bridge is 4,000ft above the natural wonder and allows tourists to look through 2.5 inch of crytal clear glass to the Canyon floor below. The Tianmen mountain, literally translated as "Heavenly Gate Mountain" is so called because of a hugh natural cave that occurs halfway up to the submit. - If view from below an opening of a hole in the middle of the submit.

Stunning: The skywalk offers breathtaking views across the Hunan Province for those brave enough to attempt to cross the bridge

Situated in the Hunan Province , Its highest peak is around 5,000ft above sea level and it is home to a wealth of rare species of plants A four-mile-long cable car was constructed in the park, which is said to be the longest of the same type in the world. The futuristic glass walkway is a marked upgrade from another sky high located in the same province 

Not so high spec: Workers built a 3ft -wide plank road on the side of Shifou Mountain , in Hunan Province , China earlier this year

The Shifou Mountain located 82 miles away in Hunan Province offers sightseers a 3ft -wide road made of wooden planks thousands of feet high. When finished the 'road' - which is the width of a dinner table - will stretch for 1.8miles making it China 's longest sightseeing path.

Sustainability Tourism or Hospitality in Taiwan

Recently we visited Taiwan for our holidays, we were recommended to visit Sun Link Sea Forest Recreation Nature Park and Ching Jing Farm - were built from the highland (surrounded by famous tea plantation - oolong green tea and mountain) for our future generation to appreciate and local Spa (hot spring) ~ places like nature travel or ecology tourism. 

There are so much thing to do and see now compared to 80's, naturally than man-made Island.

We eat and stay a night at the Resort. They served us with Organic Food for Breakfast and Dinner - Heath Food which was grown at Sun Link Sea Forest.

Ecology Tourism in Taiwan

Sun Link Sea Forest Recreation Area -  is located at an elevation of 1,600 meters. It is a 40 hectare scenic area, has a moderate monsoonal climate.  

A variety of flowers blossom all year round, and maple leaves turn a brilliant red in the autumn.
